I began my career as an attorney over fifteen years ago, specializing in estate planning for five of those years. As an attorney I was able to help my clients create estate plans based on their unique situations and assist others with estate administrations after the loss of a family member or close friend.
During my time as a practicing attorney, I saw that many of my clients needed more assistance than I could give in my legal role. I wanted to provide more hands-on, practical help to people during the difficult time after the loss of a loved one. I also noticed that although many people know how important it is to have an estate plan, they are overwhelmed by the process and so they either never get started or don’t complete their estate plan.
Many estate organizers and administrators are professional organizers with training in the area of estates. Because of my experience as an estate planning attorney I am uniquely qualified to assist you with both estate organization and administration.
I have lived in Santa Cruz County for over forty years, where, in addition to working and raising a family, I have volunteered my time to a variety of organizations, including the Santa Cruz Aid’s Project, Tara Home and Sienna House Maternity Home. My experience working with these organizations inspired me to combine my legal experience with the more hands-on help I am able to provide organizing and administering estates.
